I tell love stories.
There's a reason Planterra Conservatory is one of my favorite venues to film. The moment you step inside, the light changes. It softens. It wraps around everything — the greenery, the glass, the two of you — and creates something that feels almost otherworldly. As a filmmaker, that kind of natural beauty isn't just a backdrop. It's a collaborator.
I started Jaymes Media in 2021 with a simple conviction: your wedding film should make you feel something profound every single time you press play. Based in Metro Detroit, I've filmed over 77 weddings across Michigan — and Planterra holds a special place in that journey. The way golden hour light filters through the conservatory glass, the intimate scale that lets every emotion breathe, the timeless aesthetic that holds up on film years later — it's a venue that was made for cinema.
